Rent a Car

Posted in Uncategorized by qmarks on May 7, 2009

Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, or National; before you rent a car, it is better to consider some points, limitations for future inconveniences.

1-Are you eligible? If you are under 24 the company can charge you extra fee.

2- Is there a milage limit? Ask about the distance you may cover, generally only limit may be the international travels.

3- Ask about insurance coverages, usually it is abbreviated as LDW, loss damage waiver. It is an insurance against the damage or theft of a car.

4- Support service. What if car is broken down on the highway and you are running out of time to return it back? Do they have a support service?

5- Will you drop off to the same location? Will the office be open when you return there? Those are the important questions to be asked, To be or not to be.

6- If you rent your car from a primary location, there are additional surcharges, for example if you are renting your car from an airport, is there any additional fee for airport surcharges?

7- Gas Bill. What is the gas policy. Will you receive/return the gas tank full or empty? Generally they give you full tank and ask for the same, thus fill it out somewhere not so far from the return place but not too near. Because the prices will increase at the gas stations close to the rent a car locations.

Last, research about the way on google maps, get directions, how long is the road? How much gas will it consume?

That is I have listed for our trip before Windsor. Now let us make a list of “Top 20 Songs to listen on the road trip”
