Sectoral GDP and Employment in Turkey, 2007

Here we see the share of sectors in GDP and sectoral employment. Turkey recieves the higher share of GDP from service sector. They devote high proportion of labor to agriculture more than it recieves from GDP. Industry sector is in balance while the marginal productivity of labor is the highest in service sector.

Thus there is going to be a sectoral shift of labor from agriculture to the industry and service sectors. Those sectoral shift will lead to immigration unless they invest into the agricultural districts for industrialization. otherwise population of metropolitan areas will be promoted.

To compare with other countries
